No, it just confirms everyones opinions. Yes its overpriced, yes its still got first gen titles, no you proberbly shouldnt be buying one in 2006, but in the future it shows the most promise.

By this logic, the dreamcast should have lasted much longer than it did, and the PS2 should have had nothing on the xbox.

The simple fact of the matter is that developer support will determine which console wins. You can make the best hardware in the world, but if nobody wants to create anything for it, it will flop. Only time will tell with the ps3, calling flop or winner right now is stupid.

Personally, I hope it flops just so other console developers don't get the idea that it's cool to charge $600 for a console, and so that sony can have a good kick in the balls to show them their proprietary shit sucks.

Isn't it a kick in Sony's nuts that MGS4 is comming out for the 360? That only leaves GT as a Sony exclusive and Forza is better anyway!

Are you serious? Metal Gear for the Xbox? And didn't Rockstar say they're putting GTA games on the Xbox too?

That leaves Xbox with pretty much every big franchise out there that was between Xbox and Sony except for Final Fantasy and GT.
