Examples for voters should be given aptitude test?

I'm writing an example/exemplification essay for my english class. My topic sentence is: Voter's should be required to prove [knowledge of politics] in order to vote. (the stuff in brackets needs to be reworded, this is just a basic idea.)

Here are my three points for my essay, but I need a bit of help or websites that give me some good "meat" or examples for each of the points.

1. knowledge of candidates
2. knowledge of issues
3. knowledge of government in general
