Exactly which era were the days of yore?

I picture the early 1900's When ladies wore long dresses and men wore suits and hats. You were courted with flowers and poems. The man asked for the womens hand in marriage and they lived happily ever after.
Ok, time to come back to earth.

Well, I read the definition, and a Biblical definition was Abraham feeding his flock of yore. A yore was an animal? Days of Yore conjures up covered wagons for me, and oxen and yokes, and crushing grain.

The only way to answer this question truthfully is, When referring to 'days of yore' you are referring to any time period that was good for you.

Daisy, here is a link to the `Webster's Dictionary' which gives definitions of the term.
