Exactly where is the file that determines what files Windows Media Player 11 can...

...stream to an XBOX360? I've been having issues with this. I had added all of the content I had on my computer to my WMP11 media library, but only the items located on my laptop's internal hard disk showed up on my 360's menu.

Since the files I wanted were on my external drive, I started using WinAmp Orb (A.K.A. WinAmp Remote) This worked great for audio, but for video, it maxed out my laptop's RAM and page files, and then froze.

On a fluke, weeks later, I looked on my 360's menus using not the WinAmpORB source, but the WMP11 source, and a single folder appeared. None of the files from the internal drive, but the files on the external drive that I wanted to watch in the first place are the only one's that appear.

So, it seems that without changing the content of my WMP11 media library, my NullSoft WinAmp media library, or the library in the configuration menu of WinAmp Remote / WinAmp Orb, my shared files have changed.

So, how could this have happened? I'm afraid that when I try to watch these videos again, they won't be there?

[please, no one answer by linking to a "how-to" from a website, because I've read them before and, as I've said, it has no effect]
