Ex-Palm OS users, what new OS did you move to?

My Palm 600 is failing and I'm getting tired of lugging around a brick so now its time to buy a new smartphone. Problem is most are now using either Microsoft or Blackberry operating systems. I willing to learn a new OS but can't decide which system is the most intuitive and easy to use for a long-time Palm user.

I expect my personal use, not business use, will be something like 40% PDA, 30% internet cruising, 20% phone, 10% email. I have Cingular's HSDPA and Verizon's EV-Do in my area so a phone that can tap into their faster speed is attractive but not vital.

I've narrowed my choices down to the Blackberry Pearl, Cingular's BlackJack/Verizon's Q or Treo 680.

Can any one who has made the switch from Palm OS to Blackberry or Microsoft give me some suggestions as to which OS might be easiest to learn and to use? Did you really miss the Palm touch-screen? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.
