My ex gf left me in January because I lied and she couldnt trust me anymore (I won't go into any further detail about this, but it wasn't cheating - I told a series of big lies to hide something).
Anyway I pleaded and begged but she was so angry, so she left me. We were together 2 years.
Recently she emailed me to ask to speak on the phone and I replied and gave her my mobile number which she had deleted. On the phone she told me she still loved me and thought about me every day and still had very strong feelings for me but we couldn't get back together because she hadn't gotten over my deceit. I calmy asked if that meant we could never getting back together and she said she won't close her mind to the possibility. I said really? And she said yes, she really won't close her mind to it in the future. We spoke more and then she said she has missed me a lot. Bearing in mind she broke off all contact with me for 5 months and hadn't been in touch, I said I don't know if I can believe that. she interupted and swore loudly at me and hung up the phone. I texted her afterwards to ask why she hung up and of course I am going to doubt her missing me a lot when she hasn't been in touch for so many months and after the things she said in january. I told her I missed her too. She didn't reply to the text and that was 1 week ago.
Should I just leave her be? She hasn't dated anyone since we split in january.
