In December I was told by a local doctor that I have acid reflux. After a few months of taking my prescribed meds, they stopped working, but my nausea continued. The doctor sent me to the hospital to have an upper GI xray and a gallbladder ultrasound. Both tests came back negative for anything, including my so-called acid reflux.
After the nausea persisted, I went back to the doctor and he did some blood tests, searching for stomach bacteria. He didn't find any. So far, no one can find anything wrong with me, yet I'm nauseous at least once a day, and almost always when I'm trying to go to bed. I'm actually currently writing this because I woke up to get a drink, then was unable to go back to sleep because the nausea was so bad.
Since is was told I started having the nausea back in December, my appetite has completely changed. I don't eat much at all anymore, but it doesn't really matter. No matter what, or how much (or little) I eat, I always find myself nauseous. Any ideas about what could be wrong with me? I'm miserable
