The reason there is more chaos in the world today is because our technology has skyrocketed just in the last fifty years. And with new technology comes new and more efficient ways of killing people.
If people in biblical times had S.K.U.D. missiles and nukes, they would probably have killed just as many people as we do now. Religion has nothing to do with that, stop trying to incorporate god into the worlds problems, you soul soliciting pig f*cker.
But for the sake of argument, let's pretend that you actually knew what you were talking about when you brought evolution into this. Anyone who is actually savvy on the development of society and its morals would be able to tell you that we have never evolved. The ancient Greeks, although lacking in our technology, were just as civilized as we are today.
There have been no major breakthroughs in the way people treat each other, only more affective ways of persecuting them have come about. They say that the gap between normal people and philosophers is greater than the gap between normal humans and the common ape. Do you want to know why that is?
