Human brains havent changed much since our anatomically modern ancestors evolved on the african plains. However, human beings have put men on the moon, discovered that energy and matter are really the same thing, we have created mathematics, literature, we don't just think, we believe and wonder about the nature of our existence, all with a brain that evolved to outsmart cheetas and build a shelter. Isn't a chimpanzee intelligence enough for that. What force gave us such a staggering intellect?
i don't why human intelligence continued to increase past the point where it was needed for survival. In fact, human heads are so big that women need wider pelvic bones to give birth, which makes them slower runners. Also, all this brain matter neeeds a lot of energy to keep it going. It doesn't make sense from an evolutionary perspective.

Yes, but do chimpanzees pass on what they have learned? Human culture and language changed our brains over time, so that weacquiree knowledge from childhood, then build on it. Subjects like mathematics and literature are both causes and the byproducts of our intelligence.
