EVO Shift or Kyocera Echo? Please help!?

So i'm due for an upgrade and i can't decide between the EVO Shift or the new Kyocera Echo, people don't really like the Echo, i understand, it's a first gen phone and i has some bugs, but what really got to me was the battery. They say it only gave 2 hours! that's too little. I think i just killed the echo haha but i really love the design and i'm willing to carry a couple of extra batteries around. and it is not 4g which is just lame because sprint's 3g network isn't exactly changing any lives with it's super fast speeds.

The shift is what im leaning towards though, but does it come with an extra battery out of the box or not? OR should i get the EVO 4g? my dad has the bigger evo and i kinda like it but i need the keyboard, it's just more my style. the screen shouldn't be a problem, although i love playing angry birds and stuff on it. which do you guys prefer and why? i'm upgrading from an LG RUMOR TOUCH so anything will be better although i really loved the touch. I'm on Sprint :)

well the evo shift is cool if you dont like touch keyboards you obviosuly have sprint b/c both phones are from sprint but the echo is awesome i dont know if youve test drove it but i played with one for like 2 hours in the dealership!! its got like 3 screens theyre both androds so same operating system if i were to get the evo shift i would get just the regulare evo because i dont like sliders but id go echo all the way
 
i just upgraded to the htc evo, and my boyfriend also has it and we both love it, its an awesome phone. people complain about battery life, but i mean with a phone that does as much as the evo, of course if you are using it all day the battery will run out quicker. but it lasts much longer than 2 hours!!! its a really high quality phone. it didnt come with an extra battery, but they do have the option of getting an extended battery that lasts longer. i would go with the evo, whether you get the regular one or the shift, that just up to you if you want a keyboard! but i love typing on the screen with the swype feature, really neat. good luck!
