Authors note: A bit more straight forward than my usual stuff, dunno what I think of it.

Keep it to yourself
Smile when I'm around
I prefer the reassurance that everything will be okay
That it already is

Wrap yourself in a cocoon
Trap the mothman away
It's easier to pretend that everything is okay
Than crushing us

Keep the dark in the dark
Leave the world a little hope
Your plastic keeps us warm
Because everything will be okay
 
What, no, it's not about the mothman. If you don't normally read stuff this straightforward you should be good at not taking things literally. =/
 
I like the idea behind blissful ignorance. Kind of reminRAB me of the german populace (you know the lucky blonde haired blue eyed ones) during WWII. They didnt care how they got it, they just wanted to be powerful. Its a great metaphor and I disect a hint of sarcasm, but not.

As in.....It doesnt tell me how to think about the subject it only makes me aware of it. I like it alot compared to the last one (which i was and still am confused about)

And thank you, and I find it interesting how a lot of people I've shown this to have all had different interpretations of it than I had when writing it, yourself included. But I like that.

As for I Can't Remember You, well I know it was pretty heavily steeped in metaphors and imagery, but it was about struggling to remember someone I like in enough detail to interact in my own imagination.
