Do you think everything happens for a reason?
Or it's just that people don't want to have take credit for their mistakes, they'd rather believe it was part of their "master plan".
Or do you think some people just have bad luck?

Best arguement gets best answer.

THERE may b a reason but the reason doesent have to be in prespective of the victim...

Hello. no i dnt think everything happens for a reason. none of us are perfect, therefore we WILL make mistakes. we just have to accept that and not make excuses that "Everything happens for a reason"
maybe some things happen for a reason, but not all.
some things just happen.. and we have to learn from our mistakes. and not cry about them.
yup.

People use it because they have no idea why something happened. What is the reason a child is in hospital dying of leukemia. There is no reason, other than maybe genetics or disease. There is no master plan, that is just life. Life is just random. Why did one gazelle get ripped apart by the lion and the other didn't. He was to slow, plain and simple.

Humans have a tendency to think they are special than every other creature in the animal kingdom. There is no difference.
You can walk outside and step on an ant and it gets squashed.

A human can walk outside and get hit by a bus. No difference.
There is no order, only random chaos of events controlled by the peopes actions and choices they make.

it depends if you are religious or not. books like the Quran and the Bible prophesize, that means that God fortold the future, obviously already knowing what will happen to the people, how they will be affected, etc. some people dont believe in this reason because of their own opinions, or it is just too complicated to comprehend, you know what i mean?

I think our choices is what makes up how are life will turn out. But I also believe everything does happen for a reason in the end whether it be a good or bad turnout

everything happens for a reason.. true

i believe that there's a higher plan.. there's a plan for each one of us.. it's not a plan just out there that we follow.. it's a plan that we make.. and then we walk it.. god has a plan for each one of us but still we're the ones steering it..
in the bad there's alwayz good.. you may not see it right at the moment of disaster - nobody expects you to - but you'll see it when you've calmed down.. that's the way you're taken care of..

mistakes are a different issue for me.. you need to make mistakes. that happens for a reason too. . you need to learn from them.. and if you don't learn from them.. it is for the only reason to get hurt and living through the bad times makes you appreciate the good moments you have even more.. isn't that enough reason???

erm bad luck.. maybe there is such a thing.. in this world if you believe in something you will link everything that happens to you to this thing!.. if you believe in curses no matter what happens you will see it as being a part of a curse (for example).. if people wanna believe in bad luck, then so be it.. but are you sure there is no good signs in that "bad luck"? if someone is getting hurt physically alot.. accidents and stuff and says it's a bad luck.. well if he's surviving it doesn't that mean he was lucky!? (if you wanna call it luck)

when we say everything happens for a reason.. the reason is positive.. not negative.. it makes sense to me, people want hope and calm in life.. if you believe life is a chaos then you'd be too lost and confused.. better believe everything's under control, that everything happens for a reason.. let that reason be having a peaceful mind!

Believing that things happen for a reason is not a way to point blame. Its to accept that the mistakes we make will lead us to some understanding that is yet to come. It also is that special perspective to those that believe if you look at life positively, it will be good. Remembering all the bad things in turn will make you miserable. This way of perception is not directly related to the 'master plan' or fate.
I wanted massive change in my life, and one day I lost everything I have ever had to a flood. My past was wiped from the physical possessions I had acquired. I got my change and my life is better, and through thinking that losing my stuff, pictures, irreplaceables, et cetera, all happened for a reason, I could swallow that tragedy a lot easier and quickly move on rebuilding my new life with the change I was looking for.

Things beyond our control happen all the time, the best way to deal is to think something equally better will come along and cancel it out. Dwelling on negatives gives it power to rule your world, so does dwelling on good things. We all need to see things from perspectives we can't or won't create for ourselves. We see tragedy, and turn it into providence. A providence we just don't understand yet.

i believe it happens for a reason , as i look back over my life everything is linked from one thing to the next , we may feel we are at times being picked on or whatever but you learn from everything that happens and everyone you meet , be it good or bad all i can say is i have had some rotten luck but i am still here smiling , get the book A SOULS JOURNEY that says it all

I do belive that everything happens for a reason. YOu just have to look hard for it sometimes and then other times it will just hit you down the road as to why something happened. for example. my brother died of a heroin overdose at my house. I belive that it happened because he was getting to far on the bad road, he was going to go to jail and the same time he would have been in jail there was a jail riot that his friends were in, so no doubt he would have been in it too. I think fate stopped him before he did something really stupid.

I also think everything happens for a reason because I have had dreams, yeah, they call that De Ja Vu and that happens to me and that tells me that I was supposed to be there at that same exact time and place for a reason.

I don't belive that "god" has a plan for us and has planned out everyone's life. That just goes beyond fiction for me.

I really don't think either that we are in full control of our lives. We may have choices to make but each choice has a reprocussion.

so yes, I do think everything happens for a reason. I also do think that people use that to cover up their mistakes. Some people do need to take the blame for their actions.

if u believe we r random creatures , animals ruled by chaos then chaos rules things happen with luck good or bad people die and suffer for nothing others enjoy the best in life as a random consequence.
if u believe that we r highly intelligent creatures that try to achieve , can acheive a higher entity, then reason CONTROLS. logic. but some or most people can not stand logic that everything u do is returned back to u in this life or the after life(reincarnation) they blame luck(where chaos rules)
even "ants" "bees" beleive in reason, they know that winter is coming , so they prepare and organize themselves with good shelter food. WHY SHOULD THE "ANTS, BEES" BEE OF A HIGHER INTELLIGENCE, ENTITY THAN US???!!!!

lets look at Newton's second law for a second. Whenever a particle A exerts a force on another particle B, B simultaneously exerts a force on A with the same magnitude in the opposite direction.

or in lamens terms every action has an equal opisite reaction.

everything or every one does has a reason behind it.

one dies because they are old and there time has come. or if there young they have completed there goal in being on this earth

a lion kills a lamb because it is hungry. Life is not as random as it seems with all the winners there comes losers.

People are poor for millions of reasons maybe they were stupid and they put there money on the line or maybe they weren't the stupid one but some one along the line in there family was stupid and lost everything that there family had.
