You talked to a soldier and they lost someone in service.. and you can find plenty of people in what is left of lebanon right now.. and it's just as bad.

An innocent life is an innocent life.. Israeli, Lebanese, Syrian, Iranian.. and completely unrelated to faith.
 
$134 billion since 1948? Wow that must really responsible for the entire country's success as Muslims such as yourself love to claim

We have poured over $300 billion into Iraq just in the past THREE YEARS. Where are your complains over that? That is more than twice what you claim we have given Israel in the past 50 years.
 
Beirut has a population of 1.5 million people. So far I think around 200 civilians TOTAL have been killed. Do you really think Israel has "levelled" Beirut? Or any other city in Lebanon? Hell, levelling my tiny neighborhood here in the suburbs of Florida would result in more than 200 deaths.

I don't see how any Lebanese with half a brain could think they are being bombed for no reason. They elect Hezbollah to office, know Israel withdrew completely from their lands 6 years ago and also must be aware that Israel invaded out of the blue and is now launching 10,000 missilse at Israeli civilians. I realize the propaganda there is large, but they have access to internet news.
 
OK, so let's say you're right. Why SHOULD Americans die for some dinky country's independence on the other side of the world when we have plenty of problems over here?
 
Well, the USA already funds 25% (as opposed to the 27% we were paying till the limit was capped) of UN peacekeeping operations.
You'd think we could just buy a few countries to have our way with the UN.
