Every Nokia Phone Ever Made (Time Line)

MORAL OF THIS STORY: LEAVE TOWN WITH NON-CONTRACT UNLOCKED T-MOBILE CELL PHONE, YOU'LL GET NO MINUTES INFO FROM THEN ON!

I have a 1208 Nokia unlocked that I just bought February 2nd. It took me until April 25th to find out how many minutes I had left with T-Mobile. I was shown the #999# then green phone method of finding my minutes, on my prepaid, non contract T-Mobile phone. Pretty neat, I thought. I then left Atlanta for a trip north. Several hours later in Paducah, Kentucky, the feature wouldn't work. It has not worked since. The same T-mobile store in Kennesaw that had shown me, couldn't get it to work either. He took a locked phone off the shelf, placed my sim in it. Voila, it worked. He suggested the Nokia phone was at fault. The T Mobile tech on the phone said it was not a fair test. A locked phone off a t-mobile shelf, has the network programmed into it, while the cheap Wal Mart unlocked 1208 has nothing but the original clerk startup at the store. And you can't leave the Atlanta service area without losing it.

I remember the 1982 phones were huge. I mean gosh they covered your whole entire face. We have come a long way.

That is quite the timeline. I remember I had the Nokia model that was the first to play MP3s..it looked like a video game controller I can't remember the name of it though.

It's a good post,
it misses Nokia 3500 Classic, released July 2007, GSM/EDGE with 160*128 colour Screen & 2.0 MegaPixels camera

Thanks,

NOKIA is really so cool, worth buying, this shows the history of NOKIA,so useful for NOKIA lover :p

Hey samkata, may I ask, why do you hate Nokia? What you think is their biggest problem?

I used over a dozen of Nokia phones but so far I haven't had any problems with my them, the quality of Nokia phones are undoubtedly the best. You can use them in what ever manner you want.

I believe Nokia has cell phones for kinds of people, for instance XpressMusic range for music lover & E-Series range for workaholics. What kind of phones do you like samkata? Im sure there must atleast one Nokia phone which you may have liked, which one is it?

Hope to hear from you soon. Take K

I figured this needs a picture timeline, so im up to 1999. it should take a few more weeks to find images of every phone. Ill post it when finished
