You have to be killed by someone who has the zombie model in a ranked match like team deathmatch or deathmatch. I am a level 0 and on my second game someone told me to let him kill me so i could get the zombie model. And once the game was over i went to change my model and there now was a L1 button icon that said Press for Zombie.
