Ever notice how "liberal" is EXACTLY what a media outlet SHOULD BE?

Liberal means open-minded and well-rounded.
For example, if scientists said they had discovered new evidence making the explanation of human evolution even better, that would be big news. A responsible news station would think "that's interesting, let's learn more."
A conservative station would say, "Oh no, we don't like that because it proves our religion is a farce." So, instead of reporting it straight up, they would spin it and call the first station "liberal," even though it is just investigating the evidence/facts.
 
The media should be unbiased, nonpartisan and give their audience facts not slanted opinions ...........
no matter who they are or what their personal beliefs

Also you need to be more EXACT in your definition as to whether what you want is a Classical Liberal or a Modern Liberal media

Nothing seems clear cut anymore.
 
A good news station would report that scientist X has found new evidence and that he is interpreting it in this way.

One piece of evidence seldom is enough to prove anything and often is misinterpreted several times before a likely scenario is determined. It should not be offered as proof.

A good news station wouldn't give editorials about who and what they think is right. Their opinion doesn't matter. Their job is to only report.

Liberals aren't any better at this than conservatives. Both inject their beliefs instead of simply reporting.
 
I think that a 'responsible' person would not mold themselves from label of a certain side, but look at the world and decide what is best from their own judgement. Both liberals and conservatives have their weak points.
 
No for fundies liberal means socialist. While regarding science you would form no opinion or lean towards neither side, you remain unbiased.

Politically Yes, up to a point! You're more likely to ignore the facts if you lean to the right.

The ultimate goal should be 'truth'!
