Ever discovered a song from a movie that made you go WOW?

And .... Lets Hear it for the Boys in 'Footloose'. I am only 24 but this is one of my all time favourite songs, such a feel-good tune, i blast it in my car on a sunny day :-)
 
The tune played in the final scene of "Saw".Even though the same tune is played in all the Saw films now.The first time i heard the tune i thought it went well with what was happening on screen.

I've always liked The Imperial March tune from the "Star Wars" films.
 
I must second Ecstasy of Gold and the Blower's Daughter, but my favourite is Exsultate Justi from Empire of the Sun. Also think the scene in the Pink Room (the Pink Room by Angelo Badalamenti) in Fire Walk with Me is so surreal and seedy and sultry mostly because of the accompanying music.

First at the end of Matilda, where it just made me so ridiculously happy and then later in Ice Age, where I was already blubbing and this was just the perfect music. Still love it now, amazing tune! :D
 
Thats funny. I've just had a new copy of Let's Dance delivered today and I was playing this track and thinking about when I first heard it. It was on the soundtrack of the film Cat People around 1982/3. I remember Nastassja Kinski was in it but I can't remember a thing about the actual film.
 
I liked the scene in Garden State, where Nat Portman's character asks Zach Braff's character to listen to the song on her headphones, as "it will change your life..."

Not sure what it's called, but I'll call it 'theme from Lord of the Rings'. That's a lovely song, that.

Also, a song I was trying to find the name of for years.....I then shazam'ed it whilst watching Superbad.......it should have been obvious really as it was called "I'm your boogie man". A great funk/soul/disco classic!
