even when i have the temp lever moved all the way to cold it keeps blowing hot air

You have either lost all of your freon due to aleak, or your compressor is no longer functioning. Take it to a shop and have it checked out.
 
Could be that either your A/C control is bad, your A/C system is not working at all (is it ambient air blowing or hot as a heated air?), your cold/hot actuator door stuck in hot position. Depending which one of this is the fix can be expensive and possibly difficult having to remove the dashboard in some cases.
