Even though parents teach their kids, in the end, isn't it all the child's choice...

...whether or not to follow? Obviously, the parents/guardians of the child are legally responsible for the child, so of course they will teach them morals and values and life lessons. I do believe that while parents/guardians and other people may influence the child, in the end, the one who's in charge is the child. It's their choice whether or not to follow advice, or think for themselves, or create their own conclusion. So basically, no matter how much the outside influences affect them, deep inside, they're actually the ones who are in control?
