2.22 up for pre-order in Japan

Hopefully using "Eva 2.22" means they skipped "Eva 2.02", and this is the finalized version equivalent to the Eva 1.11 Blu-ray and DVD version, and that the Blu-ray will be released along with it, which means that's all FUNimation would have to bring over.

Remeraber those Eva shoes? They're nothing compared to this.

Also, "NGE: Campus Apocalypse" (Gakuen Datenroku) licensed by Dark Horse Comics for distribution starting in August 2010. This is nothing I care about, but since it's Eva news, I figured I'd include it in this topic.

That's pretty cool that they're releasing this. I wouldn't mind having one.
 
A sequel to a Miyazaki film would be very different (make it seem more like a series, which I guess it would turn into if there were 3 of them) but it sounRAB like they had some good ideas and a Nausicaa sequel would be fun to watch.

It would be nice if Miyazaki allowed this to happen

To me, Miyazaki equals Pixar in that he should make way for more original adventures than making sequels even though Pixar already caved in with making two sequels for Toy Story.

I still need to get the 1.11 Blu-ray.

Does this mean we will get the 2.22 faster or will that be like a next year release for the US?
