I would have expected this, as I passed Noah while driving home!
It was crazy how much rain came down, in such a short time

i lost my signal on saturday for a while, here in calgary... was raining like crazy.

was watching "one flew over the cuckoo's nest" in a&e "HD" (hah).

OFOTCN was 11 years old when i was born, but i've probably seen it a dozen times

Interesting? I lost my signal around 4PM or so om Rogers. Was watching WPIX here in Ottawa and was having pic problems, for about 5mibs or so, so perhaps that storm Toronto had effect the way Rogers gets their signal as well.

It's been brutal here. Thunderstorms rolling through all evening and night. Lost count of how many. Signal was out at about 10:30pm. Probably other times as well.

Seeing as I got soaked between the 20' from my house, to car, I'm guessing there was another outage this morning in the Toronto area
These downpoars are great for my lawn, but not good for my satellite
Thank god for the PVR!

i guess i was lucky then , here in mississauga i only lost the signal for 30 seconds first and then for 2 minutes a few minutes later. according to the PVR of course and the clock on the Italy-NED game. Kudos for the BEV installer then !!!!.

well today my 9242 did not record the Spain-Russia game due to signal loss. I wonder if it was weather related or a TSN channel issue? did anyone had a similar problem?

invest $60 in a 90cm winegard dish or similar. the larger surfacearea, the better. I didn't lose picture at all, only dropped down to 70% from 94% max on my signal meter.

When I was online looking at my EV Bill, the interactive agent came online asking me if they could be of assistance. On a lark, I asked the online agent if they could do anything about rain-fade. After a very pregnant pause (seemed like 5 minutes), the answer came back that I should make sure everything is set up properly and I should have the strongest siginal possible for my area (Winterpeg). That being the case, NO, ExpressVU can do nothing else to decrease rain-fade.

I think I might go looking for a "SuperDish"...
