Cheers, Robert... Who says about time...

I sent an email to "[email protected]" when the first issue arrived at my door. It still arrives at my door.

Not completely useless, gets a quick read in the throne room.

Then off to blue box heaven the next day.

I unsubscribed when Robert started this thread but now the damn thing's showing up again after 4 months without it. Sent off another unsubscribe request.

Best way to unsuscribe, according to me is still by giving them a call and make a request to remove it

Agent will probably, since it counts in his stats, therefore his bonus, try to tell you that in the end magazine is free since you see a charge, then further a credit, but if you insist he will end up removing it

I've called and demanded they stop sending me the paper copy on three separate occasions over the past 6 months. Another one arrived in my mailbox this morning. Sigh.

Lots of agents will refuse to do that downgrade since it doesn't change anything for the client in most case.

The clients that have 5 theme packs or more are being charged the 2$ for the magazine, then further on are being credited a 2$. For those clients the magazine is therfore free.

The agents have various bonus and the RPC net (Revenu per call) (Upgrade-downgrade/number of call=RPC net) is a criteria often used to determine whether he will get the bonus or not. Agent also have lots of prssure not to "downgrade", each call center wanting to maintain the higher RPC. Whee I was working they use to produce a "stat" sheet with RPC of each agents. Agents with the lower RPC were highlighted in yellow or red and supervisors were putting more pression on those agents, even sometimes making fun of them. For that reason, and since client gets it free, agents often will refuse to make that downgrade

They disconstinued the VU magazine around March last year if i'm not mistaking. They never had an on line version

See the following thread: http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=88672 and http://www.digitalhome.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=59665

Vu magazine has been discontinued about a year ago or more... The oficial answer from EV is that printer decided to no longer print it

Not really Kloraff Show and Extra are replacing the magazine they use to call Bell TV magazine
Bell TV (Now SHOW or EXTRA) is mostly interviews with stars and PPV schedule. It has no TV listing inside
It cost 2$/month and is credited when you have more then 5 theme packs

The VU magazine was a TV schedule that gave what plays on all the channels EV has for a month. The schedule was made in a not too easy format to read, but still was really usefull
There was also a few pages of interview and a movie section, listing all the movies that would play that month, the channel and the time. and a section by sports where it says for example baseball and you would have a list of all the baseball games that month
That magazine costed 5$

is too bad that we can't get what it used to call Bell tv Magazine, with every channel schedule. Now is well...not much.

can i still get my print magazine of show mag. i subscribe and hated the online edition.

can i get a digital edition of vu! magazine anywhere?

like bell.ca or somewhere, or did they make an online version; or not?

Bell TV magazine wasn't giving a complete schedule of what was on...it only outlined the events that Express Vu taught will be the most popular that day

It's VU magazine, which is not longer offered that gave a compete schedule of what was on on each EV channels

They are not supposed to...

Client must be advised of any upgrade/downgrade made to his/her account
In his recap at the end of the call agent must mention all the actions he did as well as the impact on his/her bill.
Since the magazine is credited for those that have 5 themes or more agent will often say that he added the magazine, but there is no impact on the bill

Since agents have lots of pression to make the sale, you see agents adding the magazines in accounts that don't already have it when they have 5 themes or more, because agents want their bonus! In the end client is not paying more than he was, there is no impact on his billing (it's not like it's gonna cost him!) and he upgrades his stats!
