Ethical decision: Would you let someone you cared about cheat off your exam in college?

My boyfriend is not doing well in his classes and that is partly my fault. I am, but english is also my first language. Our final exam could really help his grade, but realistically we wont do that well on it.

I wanted to take the exam early so i didnt have to take two finals in one day.But i might be able to move the other final to an earlier date.

Anyways, he doesnt want me to take it early because he wants to cheat off of me. My feeling is not that i care if he cheats.. but rather what happens if he gets caught. I suppose im not worried about me getting caught bc im going to pretend i have nothing to do with it.

What would u do?
 
You have to first way the costs and benefits of cheating, the one thing that I would be worried about is getting kicked out of school. I'm sort of selfish when it comes to academic work, I would help him study but I would not let him cheat, your playing with your future and in reality he may or may not be involved in your future.
 
No. When I take a test I'm competing with everyone else who is doing the same thing. When I compete it's claws and fangs all the way. There are no friends when being the best is at stake.
 
no say u split up, you would want him to do things his way and you to do things your way, but cheating is wrong, dont let him
 
I'd spend a lot of time studying with him. I would not want to take the chance of being caught cheating. And I don't think those in charge will believe you had nothing to do with it since he is your boyfriend.

Is that how he plans to get through life...by cheating? And do you really want to associate with someone who cheats? That makes you look bad also.
 
I wouldn't let him cheat. It's not the right thing to do for either of you, what if he gets to graduate because he cheated and has to face that evey day of his life, it's not worth it start cramming now.

You already know what is the right thing to do. He shouldn't even be asking you to take such a risk.
