"Progress for one group often comes at the expense of others"

i need to explain how this is historically accurate

i also need to use 3 of these themes

Militarism
Imperialism
Totalitarianism
Decolonization

So if anyone could give me one example in history when these themes were used and where the quote would apply, that would be great

Well when america was in it's imperialistic stage when they decided to "transform" places like cuba and panama, it was very profitting for the United States because it helped us set up trade relations and also gave us many bonuses like the panama canal. it was not so great for the countries under america's imperialistic intentions becuase in a way we were exploiting them and forcing our capitalist views down their throats.

revolution- our progress cost england a colony
militarism- WW2 Germany got big army and power, cost alot of Jews their lives, and caused a war
imperialism- Africa, when Europe split it up and randomly made borders, good for england screwed Africa
