It's a CDMA based phone for the Sprint network so it will only work in the US and a couple other countries (planning a trip to India or China?). It's the Sanyo MM-9500 (http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=895). For other parts of the world you will need a GSM based phone. Sorry.
