ESiR - Best HD Release group?

I honestly do not see much of a difference. What is the difference that you guys are commenting on? All that I can see is that Esir's looks a little darker. But I'm not seeing this blur that makkienator commented on.

But yeah, as Player said, people are too picky. They both look nice and crisp and colorful.
 
I uploaded now on bithdtv WiKi release, so who wants can grab, I posted same frames, and diference is lesser then on these pictures, so I apologies, but it is still little bit better, sharper, better colours.
 
EuReKA is my favorite group. They have more releases than all other groups and they don't care about DVD-size at all (CRF). DXVA is a nice bonus "feature" too.

CtrlHD is a big group and the quality and type of encoding depends to much on the actual encoder. They are better than scene of course as almost all internal encoders are. Other good encoders/groups are: HDmonSK, iLL, DON, ESiR, M794, MMI, NiX, PerfectionHD

If you stick to those groups and to HDbits and Bit-HDTV, you'll get more than 80% of all available movies in great quality.

Plus he pmed me asking me the other day asking me to check the users list at HDB for two banned accounts he wanted to get back or something.

For HDBits mods or fellow users who just want a LoL this morning at this nub claiming scene is better than internal.

He thought both might end in -s just like his "users" name, so I'm sure they are his.

HDChina is their HOME. You've just missed their open signup.

For 720p encodes ESiR is my choice. Just started downloading some WiKi releases, will need a better TV to see the difference. I actually want to see some comparison between these two groups and to source. Does anyone happen have any?
Also agree that CtrlHD's quality really depends on the actual encoders. I wasted 8G on their Leon 2 in 1 not long ago.
 
I was wondering about this, everywhere I look all I see is ESiR releases and people seem to like them a lot. What do you think?

Thx for this, I already know for iLL, DON and NiX but in future I will pay attention to other groups you mentioned.

Just watch books in the picture, you'll be surprised how much ESiR is worser then WiKi. WiKi dont release as often as ESiR, people mostly think ESiR is best cause they release the most, more then scene groups, their quantity is top, but quality not.

You've got it right. Same thing as it's a private site by invite only get an invite from a friend blahblahblah. :shifty:
Check back sticky post sites open for signup often and you'll get your chance. :fst:

You are saying groups like CtrlHD and ESiR encode their releases to fit onto DVD5's and DVD9's thus lowering their bitrate. That is absolutely false. ESiR and CtrlHD go COMPLETELY against that moral. They care about quality not speed. Thats why they release movies in which ever size they think is appropriate. Scene groups on the other hand, compress their releases to fit onto DVD5's and DVD9's and because they want to get their releases out the fastest...jerk.
 
Yeah, they release tons of top quality releases, they're defenitly on top with CtrlHD :)
I've never been dissapointed with any ESiR encode, they all looked amazing and played well =]
