Hello,
This is my second posting here seeking help with my T3.
I recently did a hard reset on my T3 and lost everything -- including the software that manages the SD card and my backup program.
Since then, I can no longer perform a hotsync. I receive the following error message from my PC (XP):
"The selected port, COM1, is not available at this time. Hotsync manager will open the port when it becomes available."
I have tried to leave the craddle connected upon start up and still receive the same message.
When I push the hotsync button on my cradle, my palm says:
"Unable to initiate hotsync operation because the port is in use by another application."
We use two other devices -- an ipod and my jump drive.
The problem corresponds in time to the use of (1) the new software I downloaded for the t3, and (2) the use of the ipod.
I believe all the settings on the device correct as per the .pdf manual.
The T3 worked flawlessly until this problem began.
What do I need to do to fix this?
Thanks,
Jim
