Error 3194 on restoring 3GS

Use new computer - Never used for itunes.

Download itunes 9.2.1 (latest), connect phone in DFU mode;

1. Turn off phone when connected to pc
2. Hold power for 3 sec
3. Keep hold power and home key for 10 sec (don`t let go power from step 1)
4. Release power key but keep holding home key

After detecting in dfu it will show recovery mode in itunes, restore and it will download new 4.0.1 firmware and restore without error.
 
that error means that your shsh blog not saved on saurik server for the firmware you are trying to flash.you need regular restore of the current firmware without pressing the shift key.beware you cannot jailbreak ios4.0.1 if it is new bootrom 3gs.
 
your iphone only white display so hardware not possible update dont west your time

when i try to restore my 3g with 4.0 version .. same error ..

can i update it to 4.1?? and if yes then jailbreak and unlock possible or not?/
 
After restore with 4.0.1 , if you have new boot must activate phone with original sim or special activation iphone sim card .After this will have ipod for this time.
 
How about 3gs ? I have one 3gs with new bootrom, now is ios4.0 any solution to unlock it?? I got original sim .
 
thanks guy ya i'm waiting. I using it as a ipod now!! so sad that i need to keep waiting....
