Anyone looking forward to this? I'm not sure. I like the trailor but I think it may have some bad points such as the casting

I am not sure about Eragon yet despite seeing the trailers as it just looks average LOTR ripoff but I hope I am wrong!

I saw the trailer last night and it says it is the first of a trilogy. Sound familiar? Are they making one every Xmas for the next three years? Dont think they will quite live up to that similar trilogy earlier in the decade!!

Yeah I have seen adverts around for the second book in this trilogy but I cant remember what it is called though!

looks good. anyone read the books? are they bascially children/teen books or also good fantasy books for adults too?

The books are in the childrens section of my bookshop but tbh at over 500 pages I think they probably deserve a bit of non-childrens readership. I'd say they were a step up from beginners fantasy for sure.

I think but am not sure Rachel Weisz is doing the part of the dragon

Ah she is doing the voice of the dragon. I just can't really picture her doing it but its hard to imagine this kind of stuff.
She'll probably be good - she mostly always is
