equivalency tests for PGCE?

I'm going in to my last year at uni (electronic engineering (Bsc)) and i'm hoping to go on t a PGCE how ever i do not have good enough GCSE grades in english (D) and math(E) i'm not too worried by math because i have worked to get my ability up and can now do things i wouldn't have even attempted at 16 but my english is worrying me i have allowances to use a Pc an extra time (only got that 2 years ago i'm 24 now) but i'm wondering what kind of things i'll have to do for the english
 
Its good that you are planning to train as a teacher, it's a wonderful and worthwhile career.
You will have opportunities to improve your key skills in English language and numeracy as part of your PGCE
The test will be online and you will have several opportunities to pass it.
Exeter University School of Education offers good training and support for dyslexic PGCE teachers.
If you are dyslexic then you need to state that on your PGCE application.
 
You need minimum GCSE grade C in English and Maths in order to become a teacher.

Double check with the PGCE learning provider - they may offer or ask you to complete extra Maths and English first before completing PGCE. (Or they might ask you to retake those GCSE's)
