thats 8 garms of magnesium per day the reccommended amount is 1/2 a gram. Taking more than 1 garm per day for a extended period is very bad for your kidneys
Yeah, it is a laxative, but taking it every day isn't good. It sounRAB like she might have bulimia. I'd confront her about it because laxative abuse is serious. It can lead to dehydration, electrolyte irabalances, and laxative dependence.
