Episode II - looking good!!

Episode 2 is meant to make episode 1 better! apparently, now everything is in place and set up from the 1st, the 2nd is more interesting, and things from the 1st make more sense.

however: i am not a great star wars fan, and i actually thought episode 1 was ok anyway...
 
The BBFC has given episode 2 a PG Cert but also get's CUT!
Ok not a big cut . 1 second has been removed, this is a headbutt Jango Fett gives Obi-Wan.

The BBFC don't allow Headbutt scenes in PG and 12 cert films.

It's very Unlikely the scene will be added to the uk dvd (getting released this October/ November )But if your player can play U.S discs then you'll most likely get the U.S version
 
Hey I was ready and waiting outside my local cinema at 9.15 this morning with my switch card, picked up my tickets at 9.30 then began to get giddy at 9.31. Went and sat through all those bloody trailers and then......................

"LUCASFILMS" ........... it begins!

That was it, 2 hours and 20 minutes (?) of sheer pleasure, climaxing in the yoda duel!!! WOW THAT ICLE FELLA CAN F**KIN MOVE:D

I had a huge grin on my face durrin that 2 minute sequence and haven't come down all day. Should have gone to uni to revise after that, but i was far too hyper! YEAH THIS ROCKS!!!!!!

Taking the girlfriend to see it tomoz. I love my sci-fi birdy;)

P.S. Binks is only in it for about 3 minutes :cool:

Saw AOTC today, and like the previous poster I had a big cheesy grin oer my face while Yoda did his stuff, I'm just wondering what happens in Episode 3, how does Anakin make the final transition, who kills who etc, does anyone know/have an informed idea??
 
I'm sure i've read that it will be similar to the death of darth maul. Anakin falls or is thrown down a pit or off the edge of some thing and is left for dead. With most of his body broken he's saved by darth sidious and give cybernetics to keep him alive and henceforth becomes the figure of darth vader that we all know and love.
 
I've got to say that this film is fantastic. Everyone is saying that it's too cartooney and filled with too much special effects... to be honest, who cares?!?! If the film wasn't filled with SFX then people would be saying "This is a Sci-Fi film. Where are the special effects?!"

The film is much better than The Phantom Menace and dare I say it, better than Return of the Jedi.

I can't wait for the next episode!
 
I enjoyed this too but even more so when it shown you Yoda picking up his walking stick and hobbling after doing all his Jedi stuff.:D

Fantastic film, looking forward to seeing it again soon. I liked the way it was beginning to tie in with Ep4 a lot more.
 
This was a good film, much better than episode one, but i do think it was a tad too long. I did find myself a little bored in the middle, waiting for the huge gladiator end scene that i had seen glimpses of.

My frienRAB girlfriend fell asleep half way thru tho...

Also, why does everything sound like a pod racer these days?

And everyone in the cinema was laughing at yoda when he was flying everwhere... was this lucas's intention?!

Overall, awesome film, am looking forward to episode 3.

All this from a non-star wars fan :eek:
