epidural after disectomy

Has anyone had epidurals that were successful after having a discectomy? I had many epidurals before the surgery, none of which worked. I was thinking that maybe now, since I am still in pain, that the epidural might work. Has anyone had any nerve blocks and were they successful ? Thanks, Edna
 
I am moving this up the list, since I have exactly the same question. Some answers would really be appreciated.

I had a caudal epidural 6 months after a successful fusion. How long since your surgeries?
