Epic Movie - Worst Movie Ever!!

I just need to vent this out, went to see Epic Movie last night (because we just missed the start of the film I wanted to see) and since then I've been trying to think of a worse film I've seen. It was just AWFUL from start to finish. I've never seen a film try so hard to be funny and fail everytime! Just pathetically OTT and its attempt at spoofing movies was simply terrible. Scary Movie was ok, but then again that was the original idea and its gotten worse ever since. Plus Epic Movie was only a 12 rating, meaning so much had to be watered down as well. But in general, I'm questioning why this movie was made (apart from money) and why the actors would want to commit practically career suicide. Poor Poor Poor Poor Poor film. I'm fuming I donated a few quid to its box office by going to see it. Hopefully this is last in the line of "X Movie" style films. As if Date Movie wasn't bad enough, they just tried to go one better with this joke of a film.
 
Im glad to have read your view as altho i am not a fan of spoof films there was a slight possibility i would have watched it....i wont bother now!!!
 
I saw the trailer for Date Movie last year...and I admit I found the trailer hilarious! I couldn't wait to see it for real.

I went to see it for my birthday party! And it was the WORST film I had ever seen! I was so embarrassed that I had taken my frienRAB to see it. It was just so stupid and not funny at all!

So I'm thinking this will be the same.
 
Well imagine Date Movie had a funny trailer but turned out to be a disaster.....This time Epic Movie doesn't even have a funny trailer!!! I can't even emphasise enough how bad it was! Lol I said it once I'll say it again, worst movie ever!
 
Can I get something straight? You went to see Date Movie, hated it and yet knowing that the inept bunch of "monkeys with typewriters" who churned out that dross were responsible for the similarly titled "Epic Movie" - you still went to see it.

I am pulling your leg but did you really think it would be any good?

Totally agree. Date movie trailer made me laugh but the film was just awful!

My mate wanted to go and see Epic Movie and he had some free tickets! So I'm glad I didn't pay for it. To be fair to it, I did laugh a couple of times but a few of them I just thought it was awful!

I used to enjoy Scary Movie but after number 4, it has gone down hill aswell.
 
After I saw the dreadful Scary Movie 4 I vowed never to pay to see a spoof movie again. What happened to the good spoofs like Airplane & The Naked Gun?
