enV vs. SCH-i730

I'm having trouble making up my mind. I have an opportunity to upgrade to one of these two phones via Verizon's NE2.

What I am looking for:

? Basic phone (not for business - not a heavy caller)
? Email access
? TXTing
? Video

Now the the Verizon rep I was dealing with assured me I could get the i730 for the $99 price and mentioned nothing about a data-plan so much depends on my chances here. I don't plan on getting the data plan.

enV

M'lady has a 9800 and I do like it.

? Has a nice camera and unlimited video (something the 9800 lacks)
? Email would cost $20 a month!!!
? Decent for video and great for texting

i730

? Has WiFi (which I have at work and home)
? Email via internet (no data plan)
? Can txt
? Great for video (on train - I currently lug my laptop with me everyday, but I'd like to leave it home except on days I'll be mobile)
? Bulky (and I read about battery life concerns, but I'm not a heavy user)

I've read countless reviews on each and I am torn. The only things keeping me from going for the i730 sans data plan are:

? Bulky - will it be a pain to carry around every day?
? No camera - no GPS directions etc. (older)
? Complicated for normal phone use/texting

I'm a nerd at heart and I like gadgets so either would be great (based off Verizon's offerings) I never would have considered a Smart Phone due to the cost - the cost would be same (or less). The $20 for email just kills the enV for me. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

*note: I was also looking at the u740, but got turned off by some luke-warm reviews. Plus the enV's superior camera and internal screen is worth the extra $.
