Entering the PDA world...

That Girl....

Hey

Im thinking of entering the world of PDAs :P. I have been looking at the T3, and think I might get it, it seem really good.

However, as using the internet will be one of the main priorities for me, I have a few questions that would be cool if you could anser for me :).

Will I be able to use the internet on the T3 using my Nokia7600 on 02 PAYG Online and its GPRS connection over bluetooth? (I already have it set up so I can browse the net on my actual phone, but I find the wap/xhtml/small screen very limiting).

Secondly, how long can expect to be able to browse the net for in terms of battery life?

Finally, is the T3 for me? Im looking for something relatively powerful, bluetooth is a MUST, IR is also pretty important, I also want to be able to play video/mp3.

Thank in advance :)

At present, I am having difficulties making my Nokia phones work with the T3 through GPRS. As far as I know, there is no T3 driver yet for your N7600 (and my N7610 and 6230), and using the T3's standard GSM will only make you send SMS from the PDA to your phone (not retrieve) and also transfer picture files. My older Sony Ericsson T610, on the otherhand, functions very well with the T3 and can browse, email, sms, and transfer files.

For browsing the internet, the battery can probably last only 1 to 2 hours. But in our case, browsing via GPRS is very expensive (charged per kb) so it is not practical for serious browsing. But email retrieving and sending is cheap and convenient (I can also choose to download only what is important), and it is also handy for sending and receiving word and excell files that's in your Docs to Go application. (All the functions in this paragraph may not work with your N7600)

T3 is a very good PDA and I am very satisfied with it, but you might be disappointed if you expect it to work well with the bluetooth of your Nokia 7600.
