i just want to thank those of you who were reading and replying to my thread about my severe sinus infection.

i went to an ent the other day and she wheeled a small tv that into the room. she said i could watch on tv what she was seeing with the endoscope. so i thought it would be pretty interesting to see my infected sinuses on tv.

i explained to her about the pain across my nosebridge and maxillary sinuses. she probed around, and she found nothing. she said my sinuses looked great for having two surgeries and that there were no signs of infection or fungus. i didnt see anything questionable either on the tv. i was extremely shocked and a little dismayed because there seems to be no explanation for my pain.

she said it's possible it's allergies, but im already on plenty allergy medication.

i dont know what else to do, maybe get a second opinion but i dont want to be wasting my money. i dont think another ent would see anything different.

That's great news. The ENT would definitely have been able to see if there were an active infection (particularly if it was a widespread bacterial or fungal infection).

I suspect you're correct, I think the best thing for you to do now is to work on finding a medical regimen that helps manage your symptoms. It may take some trial and error but I think you'll be able to find a way to manage the symptoms if you take some time to adjust your medical regimen and keep track of what helps and what doesn't.
