On a related note, beer commercials are equally redundant. Even if brewries didn't advertise, I would buy beer anyway. It sells itself. However, beer commercials are usually very entertaining. They have jokes and really silly shit going on, instead gay CGI'ed polar bears or boring looking clusterfuck family gatherings.
