Enough about "I got a wii", how about some more reviews about it...

wii sports is amazing. very nice showcase of how the controller works. real fun stuff.

the system menus itself are very crisp and easy to navigate. just feels 'right'.

zelda starts out a bit slow. moving around is very easy. shooting the slingshot is pretty cool as with fishing. i actually somewhat dislike how u have to swing the thing everytime to use your sword. while it really isnt that annoying it does get cumbersome after awhile. game hasnt really kicked in yet but i have only played about 2 hours.
 
I honestly think the controls for Marvel:UA are some of the best i've ever used.


takes a couple minutes to get used to, but it's so fluid & natural afterward.


example: you pick up a object with the Z button, then flick the nunchuck to throw it at someone/something.
 
The graphics aren't pathetic at all... Maybe in Wii Sports but that's not supposed to be a graphical powerhouse anyway.

I thought for sure I'd be able to handle waiting a few days, but now that my order was cancelled, I'm going to freak out and feel like shit until I find one
 
Played Wii Tennis with 5 other peeps (losing team switches off) this afternoon for like two hours

INSANE AMOUNT OF FUN!!!

Haven't had this much fun since the Goldeneye/Mario Kart 64/Halo days.

It sucks that I couldn't get any extra nunchucks just controllers, I really wanted to try out the minigames in Madden
 
Wii Sports is fun as hell! OMG I can see that game being the life of a party.

Haven't opened Zelda yet, but will after i finish eating
 
my nextdoor neighbour got a wii tonight. played it for about an hour. the sports games were pretty entertaining. played mostly red steel though. graphics look terrible, and I didn't like at all using the controller and nunchuck. my friend seemed to be enjoying it, but seemed to me the game would have just been a lot faster and smoother if a regular controller was used. I'm definitely not going to get one, didn't like it at all to be honest.
 
i still haven't opened it yet i'm waiting until i get home tomorrow for thanksgiving break...which is tomorrow



i haven't bought any games, i only have wii sports because im BROKE
 
nutshll: system feels solid, wii sports is fun, graphics are shitty, zelda is great but not the 2nd coming of jesus. xbox360 is a better value if you are a "gamer", wii is fun for the whole family
 
well that game is still awesome. to tell the truth, we played for 12 hours today, according to the game, and about 9 of those hours were spent on wii sports. maybe an hour on rayman, the rest on zelda and red steel (not really good multi-player games). wii sports is best when you have other people to play it with you.
 
The graphics are not shitty. What the fuck is wrong with you people? The graphics are just fine, the games are FUN. Which is more than I can say for most 360 games. 360 games look good but I haven't found any of them that are actually FUN to play. Most of them bore the shit out of me after a while.

jesus you guys go all apeshit whenever a single bad thing is said about the wii... i like my xbox360 even with the crappy overheating... i like my wii with the shitty graphics.... and gears of war > your life
