...officers? Do they know what they are doing when it comes to leading you into the battle field? I ask this because i've heard that they don't know anything when it comes to the battle field. I also heard that they make a lot of bad decisions. I'm in college now but i am going enlisted first so that i can get some experience then i'm going to go to OCS. Do you respect a officer that was an enlisted personnel first or one that came right out of college?
 
No different than in civilian life jobs. Officers are taught war strategies and it depends on how they use what they were taught. Some excel, some fail.
