I had a CT scan performed to look for a kidney stone and none was found and my pain persists. I was looking at the slices that seem to show a section of my abdomen that includes:
liver on the left, gallbladder, a mass next to the vena cava and aorta, the stomach and the tops of both kidneys, as well as the spleen.
To my knowledge it is located where the spleen should be but it is three times as wide and almost twice as long as other ct scans of the spleen that I can find. It is light gray with some dark areas in the middle.
