the whole point to two scavengers and the two posh people in a mercedes is that they are a contrast

but talk about the fact that the bright colours 'bright yellow' red plastic blazers' of the bin men make them stand out and makes them outsiders also shows the cheapness of the bin men
also say that the posh people try to be accepted as well and try to look trendy 'also with long hair and sunglasses' 'short skirt coloured stockings' 'hip three piece linen suit' but because they are beautiful people they are accepted
'also long hair'- similarities between the two groups
the way the stanzas are wrote the beautiful and the ugly people are always separate and show that the two groups don't mix
'and the very red light for an instant holding all four close together' 'as if anything at all were possible' as if means never
'grey iron hair' - almost like the city he works in
