I've been assigned a English project in my capstone class. I'm a fairly decent poet and have been writing for years, but I'm having a hard time brainstorming on what I can do. I've been trying to figure out a poetry focus, but I'm not having luck there either. So if you can help, please, please do. It would be greatly appreciated.
These are the requirements:
The presentation should be carefully thought out, not simply a jumble of partially abandoned materials. It should last between 5-10 minutes. No longer. No shorter.
must have a title
must include a significant moment of silence
must include a significant moment of stillness
must include both ritual and transmission modes of communication
And then we had to pick three requirements from another list. These are the ones I think I could do...
must reveal a dark secret or forbidden desire
must use a bit of found or recycled language or material
incorporate a YouTube video, musical accompaniment or dance move of your choice
do it to a beat
use a famous catch phrase
make a point, perhaps through a conclusive statement
must include some aspect of non-censorship
