well it sounds like the person was asking what the people of veit nam were like during the war, and i don't mean soldiers but the people even though they were our enemy more than likely most of them were not bad people at all. Because the truth is were all alike in one way or another we all want our children to grow and be happy but we are restricted to ether basic information or stereotypes about the people we are at war with and we never truly understand the people and not the "leaders". But during that tim many children and innocent people were killed by american troops trying to defend themselves. so therefor no one is to balme at war since we are all just trying to answer the call of ourcountryy. the innocent killed are veryunfortunatet and sad but that is war and the innocent killed in veit nam will not beforgottenn by the american soilders who no have to carry this burden with them for ever.
