I have a 94 chrysler jeep with a bad tranny, and i am restoring a 1979 pontiac phoenix. the jeep has a fuel injected 318 cid that i'm going to tear down and rebuild for a carb, i would like to take out and put into my phoenix. but i have been told that i will not be able to mount that particular 318 into the phoenix i assumed that i could buy the correct engine mounts, but i was told that even then i would not be able to make it fit correctly. so i would like some other opinions on it. and if that is true why would i not be able to mount it?
