In the dark I replaced the battery, I put the cables on backwords. Now there is no "juice" to anything- won't start-no lights -nothing-won't even turn over. What could be the problem? Cables are connected correct on both ends, all fuses show no sign of being burnt. I really need to get it running again. Someone PLEASE HELP!

wow ! that,s not good, especially with computer cars. reversing the cables like that can lead back into the computer and mess it up.

The fusible link in the lead between the battery and the alternator is probably melted. Check it and if has melted then you will need to replace that. There is really no guarantee though that the fusible link there can save your alternator and circuits such as those in the ECU from damage.

You may be done. Reversed polarity on an electrical system is not a good thing.

Put the cables on the right way. Red=positive, black=negative... If it doesn't start, still, jump your car and let the alternator charge the battery.
