engine light came on my wifes 2005 toyota sienna?

I have a code reader and the code was p0442 can someone help me and tell me what the code is??
 
the code reader did not come w/ a book that tells you what the code means ? if not you can go to a local auto parts store and they can re-scan it for free and tell you what the code means.
 
That is an evaporative system leak. Make sure the gas cap is on tight. There are other places that may need attention, but if you're lucky, it's only a loose gascap. Look on the web for OBD II troublecodes, and they'll all be there. Print it out and put it in a strudy notebook.
