I have a 2005 Nissan Altima with about 85,000 miles on it. It recently began to make awful sputtering noises coming from the engine area after I filled it up with gas from almost empty. I thought it was a fuel problem so i took it to the shop and they flushed my fuel injector and pipes and did an engine flush too but it still makes the noise. Then I took it to a different place, and they thought it was something else, so they replace a pipe or something. That didn't work so they thought it was the motor, so they took a look at that but didn't see anything wrong. Overall I got to spend tons of money with no solution.

Has anyone else had a problem like this? The noise sounds a lot like fluid sputtering, and it starts the moment I turn on the car until I turn it off. It doesn't get louder as I drive or accelerate. It suddenly started happening after I filled up with gas at the end of a long car drive (about 700 miles). I don't mind replacing parts but no one seems to know what they are doing. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!
Also, I think it might be a fuel problem because when I am stopped at a light or something, the car jerks a little.
