We don't have Monster here. We're very limited on our selection, or at least, this part of town is. Sugar free red bull has about 10 as well, and we do have that, but I really don't like the taste of red bull.. Tab probably doesn't have that many calories either, and that's the only one I've liked the taste of... The rest, though, whatever their names are, have usually had over 100 calories at least, which I consider to be too much for a drink. Especially if it doesn't taste good/won't even do it's job.
I Monster Not too keen on Red Bull or Relentless though. I remember once I had a two litre bottle of cheap "Caffeine Stimulation Drink" or something like that, basically cheap Red Bull and it made me ill. Couldn't stop shaking for a long time :blank:
You serious?? I tried Red Bull once. Too strong for me.
Yesterday, slept at 6am without the aid of energy drinks, woke up four hours later, had an energy drink that had been sitting in my fridge for a week (was supposed to be a bit of back up in case I didn't finish my paper for school), and lasted until about 10 that night.
Not always a picker upper but if you slept for four hours at that hour, it kind of helps I suppose.
I get crazy if I have been up all night. I get like this second wind around 3am then I just talk a mile a minute, and usually I'm very quiet. Then I crash.
 I remember hearing stories in the local news about this. Some people had to be taken to the hospital after mixing energy drinks and alcohol. And there were warnings for people not to do that.
As far as I know, Monster is only 10 calories (unless if you try Java or that other one that I forgot the name...then that's 100 cal). Just has a lot of caffeine.
Guess who's hitting the Monster drinks again after having to deal with (now) two more papers, both for a Film History class? :thud:
I tried Rockstar once in my university (only because they have no Monster there). Similar effect but the caffeinne doesn't last long because after a couple of hours of consuming it, I start getting sleepy. Not good if I have a two hour break in between classes. :goof:
Definitely. Which is why you don't want to test out overdosing it on yourself. Also, a lot, if not all, energy drinks, though low on calories, contain a high does of caffeine and sugar.
^ That's exactly how I tasted Red Bull, with alcohol. After that I just said to give me alcohol on its own! The suppressed alcoholic in me can handle it. Anyway, mixing energy drinks with alcohol isn't the best of ideas. As appealing as cardiac arrhythmia sounds, I'll pass.
I think Red Bull is okay if you mix it with liquor, provided you taste a bit more of the Bull instead of the alcohol. But if I drink one or the other alone, not exactly the best results :look:
