endless boot

Hey all,
All of a sudden when turning on my TX, it froze and I booted it per normal from the back. It started the boot, I got the Palm OS screen, then it went back to a re-boot, and again, and again...endlessly. Even when I let the battery drain, charged it back up..still does the same thing. I seem to remember reading about a way to do a "deep" boot that wipes all software out. WOuld this be my best next step? And how do I do this? Or other ideas?
thanks for any suggestions.

Try Googling for "palm tx hard reset", there's a Palm advisory on how to do all the different types of reset.

Had you installed any new software before your TX went haywire? If so, you might want to delete that from the backup before you restore it.
